It’s almost here, we’re getting glimpses of Spring. Little moments where you walk outside to check the mail or take out the trash and suddenly you feel the Sun’s warmth tempered by a cool breeze. It’s almost time to shake off winter and if you’re anything like me, it’s time to plan your summer adventures!
Those of your further North might feel a little resentment, it might still be cold where you live and as a Utahn I can definitely say I feel your pain. This last week we started getting little bursts of sunshine. It was getting close to 70 degrees in some places, but then the next day it dropped back down to the 20’s and it started to snow.
But Summer is on its way and I can’t wait; and based on how many of you have supported the new Haven XL, I know neither can you! I really want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support as Haven Tents has grown. I’m so glad my little idea to make a flat lying hammock has been able to help so many people more thoroughly enjoy the outdoors!
I’m excited to let you know that as we continue into the Spring and Summer Haven has great plans to continue to expand with a number of fun new tools and accessories on the way! Be sure to sign up for our email list for first looks of upcoming Haven products.
So many of you have shared amazing stories and pictures of your outdoor adventures. With Jacob and Brad’s help I plan on bringing more content to you and helping to further expand our little Haven community. With more adventure stories, gear guides, and educational information to come through this journal and social media.
Because we all know going on your own adventure is the best, but planning and preparing for your next outing is pretty fun too! By sharing our adventures, ideas and plans I hope to build a more tight knit community where no matter our individual experience or skill level we can have fun in the great outdoors! See the community section of our Facebook page.
Look forward to our preparing for summer series here in the Haven Journal. We will go over getting the most out of your Haven Tent with gear checklists and ancillary product reviews of other companies’ products that enhance the Haven experience.
For those of you who might be newer to camping or like me just love the hobby within a hobby of preparing for your next trip we will also talk about planning everything from a backpacking trip to a quick, relaxing overnighter and getting the most out of the summer months.
And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Haven XL there’s still time to be sure you get it before summer fully ramps up.
