These are great and definitely solve the problems both of tighten up the ridgeline and allowing for wider spans. They can be slightly tricky to use though and take some getting used to. And they stretch out in the rain a bit. Definitely use them with carabiners! If you loop them through at either end they become very difficult to undo.
The slings eliminate all worry in regards to dining close enough spot for two trees. They have amazing adjustability and once you see how the finger trap style works to loosen and tighten, it’s quick and easy.
These whoopie strings are so easy, I literally hooked them up to my haven XL. Pulled the them right and I was done. They lasted through the weekend of camping with heavy winds and no issues at all. Makes it super versatile and robust in using. With conventional straps are nice but these add twelve feet of reach and let me tell you how nice that is.
Stronger than I every thought something this size could ever be. Will buy another pair

Tried it out today in a local park. Very nice if the support line has a little slack, but when it's tight, such as when the trees are far apart and you need to get the hammock off the ground, it's very hard to slide. Unlike nylon straps it does not stretch, so that's a plus. Easier to deploy, easy to store.
Ok..First time hammocker..First time reviewer..But I have to say this Haven XL is an unbelievable piece of gear. With carbon fiber spreader bars and a pair of whoopie slings..switched out stakes.. put it all in a ultralight stuff sack. I increased my carry weight from an ultralight hiking pole tent by 2.8 pounds "big whoopie sling" for the sleep I got. I didn't know this my first time out but there's an adjustable strap across the bottom about a foot from the end. Couple of videos later it's a Lounge strap are you kidding me..!! I'll try that this weekend. My next purchase will be the new layflat pad when available. Pleasure doing buisness with you.
Pretty disappointed. I reached out to them as soon as I got the hammock and told them that some of the stitching wasn’t done properly. Paying over $400 for a hammock with the extras I was extremely surprised and asked them to at least send me a patch kit. I got no response. Aside from the manufacturer defects, the hammock was extremely comfortable.

These whoopie slings make hanging your tent anywhere, easier!! They allow me to have more flexibility when it comes to where and how I want to hang up for the night and they hold tension so well!
Just trying to get my sleep system right for the AT this year. I am 67 and the weight tradeoff for sleep is okay if it works. Air mattress keeps losing air, so I need to talk to a rep about that. When it does it comes out of its sleeve and it is a mess. It is my 4th night tonight so hopefully I can get some sleep and figure it out!
Greatest thing for hammock campers since underquilts! These things blew me away. They make finding trees suitable for hammocks so much easier, and getting to proper angle for a comfortable sleep is so much faster with the whoopie slings. price is unbeatable.

This tent is simply the best! I recently hiked down the Grand Canyon and stayed at Havasupi campground. I had over a dozen people stop and ask about my haven because it is so awesome. I know I slept better than anyone in the whole campground giving me the energy to hike back out of the canyon. These whoppie slings were a life saver so I could hang my tent wherever I needed. I would never go back to anything else. Thank you Haven!
Love the whoopie slings! Allow for extended length between anchors and complete customization of leveling my Haven. I often setup my tent in the backyard when I can’t make it to the woods and the whoopie slings give me some extra options.
Looking forward to car camping in Oregon and bike riding. I love how quickly I can get the XL set up and torn down. Very happy with the XL.

Very easy to set up and provides a nice, secure, customizable hang for the hammock. Lightweight, too!
These are great for when you need more length kind of like a Chinese finger trap for the string. Word to the wise: Use carabiners when hooking to the tree strap or any strap, otherwise they're super difficult to take down when moving.
Good luck figuring out how to use them. The instructions seem like they were illustrated by someone who never used them. I still don't know how to make these work.

Not a fan of the woopie slings, I've changed that already. I would love if the rain fly had (one side only) maybe 5" more to front side so you can sit under it during a rain. also looks like you where hands free filling the air mat. I can't figure that out or the pieces that came with the pump. I've love camping in my new floating tent. Others are impressed also. I just tell them where to get one. thank you!
