Haven Returns and Warranty
At Haven Tents we stand behind our products with our one-year limited warranty. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or if you have issues during use please contact us or submit a return request so we can make it right.
Our warranty does not cover:
- Regular wear-and-tear
- Improper use, including exceeding the maximum weight capacity
- Cosmetic, non-structural or functional damage
Avoid using duct-tape or other materials that can leave a residue on the tent as doing so may void your warranty.
*Even if you don't plan on using your Haven Tent within one year of purchase, please make sure to at least test it before the warranty expires. We are not responsible for damaged or defective items after one-year of your purchase.
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return your item(s) within 60 days of receipt for a refund. Note: a $10 fee may be deducted from your refund to cover shipping costs. See below for more information. Please review the policies below before you initiate your return to ensure your items qualify for a refund:
Items must be returned in new or gently used condition to qualify for a refund. Conditions that would not qualify for a refund include (but are not limited to):
- Dirt, grass, or sun stains are clearly visible
- Fabric smells like campfire smoke
- Residue is present from duct-tape or other adhesives
- Items that have been modified in any way from the way it was originally received
If you are wanting to swap your Haven Tent for a different size or model, we are happy to help out. To do so, submit a return request within 60 days of receipt. After we receive your tent and perform an inspection of it, we will refund the amount you paid for your tent which you can then use to purchase a new size/model.
We are so confident in our design that we offer a "backyard test". Try Haven in the backyard. If you don't like the lay, send it back for a full refund (minus shipping costs). It's that easy.
To qualify for the Backyard Test full refund, make sure there is no:
- Obvious wear
- Exposure to campfire smoke
- Pet hair in the hammock
Other return requests are evaluated case by case. To initiate a return, please submit a Return Authorization Request.
Starting a Return
*Our automated return portal does not currently support orders placed outside of the USA. Please contact us if you need to start a return outside of the United States.
Have your Order # ready. It can be found in your order history, packing slip, or purchase confirmation email. If you are in the USA, then head over to our Return Request Portal.
If your return is approved, you will need to package it up and take it to a local USPS office. You will have the option to either print your return label or to have the label printed for you when you arrive at the post office by using a QR code sent to you. Note: Please allow up to 3 days for your return request to be approved. An email from ‘DODDLE’ will arrive with your return instructions.
Once we receive your return, we’ll send an email to confirm we have received your order and processed your refund. Your refund will be credited back to your credit or debit card within 3-5 business days of receiving your return. Note: a $10 fee may be deducted from your refund to cover shipping costs. We will only cover shipping costs in cases where the return is due to a damaged/defective item or in other circumstances approved by Haven Tents. Return labels will not be provided for items that are functional and are being returned due to a customer mistake (such as accidentally ordering a second tent) or similar situations. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
