I've had my Haven XL for a couple of years and absolutely love it. I'm an avid bass fisherman and drive to various lakes and camp for a couple of days but recently ran into an issue where the campground didn't have suitable trees to hang the Haven. After mush research I found exactly what I was looking for....... Haven stand by RoboGear. This thing is well built and we'll thought out. Who needs trees.

It’s a hammock stand...Meh. I’m kinda surprised by the price that it’s a simple bungee stand but it does work as advertised. One of the legs became detached my first use and it was tricky to fix but I eventually got it.

My 2 first nights in the Haven tent….. heavenly! This system is so well thought through that there isn’t a thing that you miss. The view the Haven offers all night is spectacular. Can’t wait to go again! Since we had to switch campsites from lots of trees to an open space, bringing my Haven Stand By Yobogear was perfect. It has everything you need for a quick and easy set up without trees.

Great time camping thru the Rockies in Alberta with the Haven XL Safari Decided to get the Haven Stand by YOBOgear so I wouldn’t be tree dependent and allow for campsite mobility as needed. I’m currently lounging in my treeless backyard, a little sway and a cold sip , loving life. I see neighbours peering over so it’s soon time to give my free sales pitch :)
I had to set up in the dark, but it was no problem at all. It took only a few minutes to set up and felt very secure. I felt a little end to end movement when getting up during the night (Old age bladder), but never enough to make me worry. Tear down was just as easy. The hardest part was getting it into the bag and that only took a minute. Over all I love it, but it is a little bulky on my motorcycle.
Fantastic Haven stand by YoBoGear. The price seems a little steep but after I was able to purchase it, it's 1000% worth it. Every pole is attached by Bungie string so you cannot lose a pole. Folds up and fits into the bag easily.
Couldnt wait to set it all up out back. I went out the next day and laid in it and nearly fell asleep in no time without trying because it was so comfortable. The wife interrupted though! Looking so forward to my camping trip now that I know my nights will be comfortable. The stand needs to come with two more lines and two ground stakes. The wind flipped the whole thing over and it wasnt a real strong wind. It just got under the tarp a little and turned the stand over. Maybe I missed something setting it up. But overall, I am tickled to death and anxious to get it all fine tuned.
It works well. I don't have my Haven tent yet to try that, but a regular hammock works, too. My complaint is that it is all one piece bungeed together, which makes set up/take down cumbersome at times. Not impossible, but I think having it in smaller sections would be a little easier. And I'm not sure it's really worth the price point... but it does work, so the money is spent.
Haven’t taken it out of the backyard yet! Now that I have this setup, I may not leave the backyard either! Can’t wait to hang my Specter on this baby! Great stand, easy to set up. Just be careful not to leave the rain fly on the polls when you are not in the tent. It’s great for the view, but it’s also a sail, mine blew over and bent one of the fly polls in the first five minutes. But that was user error. Five stars!⭐️

Got my haven safari as Christmas gift so I had to have the stand for campsite without adequate trees. Absolutely love it exceeded my expectations!!
I don’t know if I am the “target” audience for this tent, the safari. I bought this as an answer to my camping needs when I am on my motorcycle. General I am the woods and it has not been an issue finding two trees. However I planned a tripped for the islands and sadly finding two trees adequately spaced was now going to be an issue. Bought the new frame and it arrived in a short time frame. First my it is very bulky and long for the bike. (yes I was aware of the dimensions before purchase, just noting) Secondly, it is very award to connect I have had previous camping equipment with the interior bungie cord and it always breaks. So I am uncomfortable with the quality Third. The rods for the fly are terribly trying. There is already a haven video on how the “consumer” needs to alter the rods before use. Overall i love the concept of the frame but I feel the quality and design was rushed or corners cut just to say one was complete. I am a huge fan for the safari tent. So much so that most of my fellow riders, die hard solo male tent campers, have broken down and bought at least one. My safari tent has been with me for over a year and has been hung from the Florida keys to Newfoundland, and lots of spots in between. I will continue to be a promoter.
I love the Haven Tent. A cold February night (12 F/ -11 C) and it performed exceptionally well. The YOBO Frame allowed me to pitch in a beautiful area with a wonderful view of the sky. In this video I provide a step-by-step review of my setup to ensure that I am comfortable and warm allowing me to extend hammock use into the dead of winter. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with a warm fire and beautifully clear night to watch the stars and share campfire stories. The heavy frost had no impact on my comfort within the Haven Safari. No worries at all, until I tried to break down and head home and a significant problem was encountered. Watch my video and enjoy. As soon as the box arrived I had the stand set up in the TV room. It literally assembled itself. The Safari’s tree straps are a bit overkill, needing only a small portion of each to loop to the stand. Purchasing shorter straps in the future would be my plan. Perhaps Haven could offer straps specifically for the stand in the future, it wouldn’t take much and would eliminate tedious adjustments getting things “just right”. There’s really no problem hanging the Safari, I’ve hung the head end closest to the hub and have the foot end looser so the foot is about 6 inches lower than the head. The Ridgeline is properly taut with about 2” of play. I’ve been sleeping in the Safari all this week with no problems. The stand is firm and able to handle my 250+ lbs easily. It don’t get no better than this!
I have used it twice now. It seems to be very strong and well built! This last time I used it, was where the pic was taken. It came a very bad storm with twenty mile an hour winds with 40mile an hour gust and a lot of rain!!!! I stayed warm and dry it was awesome!! I would recommend It to anyone!!
I am really happy with this stand. Super easy to set up and work perfect with my Haven Safari. Also tried to use a bigger tarp without any issues. I often go camping on my ATV and I will from now on bring the stand and never again miss that great spot when there’s no trees.
Love it, so easy to setup and use. I’ve even made it more easier by making continuous loops for the perfect hang every time.

Really enjoying the new hammock stand. It works for both my Haven Safari and Warbonnet Blackbird. I do have one critique about the setup video though. In the video, there is a tip stating that if the stabilizer leg is off the ground, pick up the front support legs and move them forward. When all 6 legs are touching, I had a problem where the top ridge pole would twist and then drop the hammock and person in it, to the ground. After having this issue, I reached out to Yobo, and they had me watch one of their videos. Their video explains how you actually want both stabilizer bars off the ground. Once you lay in the hammock, your weight will shift to one side and one stabilizer bar will touch the ground. Only 5 poles should touch the ground at one time. After making this change, the stand has been fantastic. Happy Hanging!

I don’t have a Haven Tent (yet) but my Dutchware Chameleon fits perfectly. I did figure out that the tarp extension poles are different than the YoboGear poles for “normal” hammocks but I like the way these work. This will be perfect for a beach day and I can still set my tarp for camping.
Loved the New Haven Stand by YoboGear, it came in handy over Thanksgiving weekend for a kayaking trip when we didn’t have a lot properly spaced tree options along the riverbank. Thank you to Haven for providing this great option that allowed me to get a perfect night of sleep.
As stated in other reviews, the poles for the canopy don't go thru the center pole due to the washer. Feels real sturdy, can't wait to test it out in the field! Only other complaint is i wish the Ridgeline was a little more taught, but afraid to make it tighter and putting more stress on the Center pole.
The two rods that are intended to guy out the rain fly, the QR code on the card that came with the hammock support, the video shows the rod pass through the ridge tube , part of the support. The two rods have black plastic collars on the end tip of the rods, that prevent inserting the two rods through the ridge tube. I set up the stand in my livingroom and tested it with a gathered end hammock. Set up was simple, and the stand is solid. This opens even more of the world for relaxing in a hammock!

Ok, this stand works incredible very secure and the videos that are out pretty much answer any questions you might have about it. The stand setup is quick and easy can be adjusted for uneven ground easily I learned that from one of the videos that are out. The owner and creator explains everything pretty well. I got the Safari hammock and it fits really good after setting it up several times all around different terrain it works amazing the storage bag is built very good although I tie the poles together both sides before I put it away then also tie the bag on both ends to secure it for motorcycle travel stays put it's only short coming is the two poles that support the awning there pretty useless in my opinion where I live it gets pretty windy doesn't matter how I attach them they come apart I can do without the poles in fact I got tarp poles that do a better job than what came with the stand . Also the awning is so loose and sloppy that it just looks bad. So I took the awning of the hammock and put a ridge line across the very top and fasten the awning to it used my tarp poles now that works great and I can stand up under it granted I'm not very tall 5'6 staked out the tarp with adjustable carabineer and what a setup battled 35 mph winds like nothing and also staked the both ends of the stand this unit is rock solid a great concept has various holes on either end that I'm thinking about using for other things changed my mind I'll give it five stars for it's design and feedback is what the designer needs to make it better you guys rock with the hammock and stand. I'm thinking I want the bigger awning thanks for this design.
When first setting it up, allow a lot of room to spread out. It fits together like an origami puzzle but gets better the second time. The plastic packing sleeve is very time consuming to remove, especially when it is all tangled up. Once set up it is steady and strong. Now if I can figure out what those strap loops are for.
