I didn’t get cold at 8*c. Very well made
I love my haven system, that said as you can tell the light string is only 2/3 functional. I put in a return request and sent photos, I also called and spoke to the folks there. The return was not an issue in any way. The problem was this was literally days before bow season hunt that I purchased the tent for. ( I bought the Safari XL for durability and size, I’m a fat old guy and needed the space). After talking with haven and explaining my problem they were more than happy to exchange the light however I needed to send it back before they would ship out the replacement. I understand their position and it normally would not be an issue but I didn’t want to be without light on my hunt. Since I hunt bow, rifle and black powder the season for me is two and a half months. I didn’t want to go without light so I ordered a new light I had to purchase and the return expired prior to my seasons ended. Now I own one working light set and one partially working set. Not a huge issue but I feel it could have been handled differently in this case. If I had not sent the photos I could see their point in not sending a replacement set. All that said I do plan to order a ultra light XL for summer use if ones available. I do love the system.
I recently spent a night camping at 2°F in the Haven XL with the insulated pad and this cover, and it was fantastic. Super comfortable, and the added insulation of the pad cover really helped a lot. I was using a -40° rated sleeping bag, and combined with the pad/cover combo, I was toasty warm all night. I slept like a baby!

I recently upgraded with the Safari True Level Pad and the insulated pad cover. Finally I am 100% happy with the Haven Safari. The difference in comfort from the original pad is worth the upgrade, it holds air much better and is a lot quieter with the pad cover. My camping opportunities are limited right now since becoming a full time care-giver for my mom, but I can hang the Safari on my porch and sleep outside anytime....it's that comfortable. I like to kayak camp and the Safari is too heavy/bulky to easily fit in my kayak, but it's great for car camping. I would like to also have a Haven XL that will fit into a kayak easier, but I'm set for now.

At 5°C this pad cover made a significant difference in comfort on my low R-value sleeping pad in the Haven Tent. It was my first outdoor sleeping in 20 years and I am crazy about the Haven Tent system. The worst thing was me battling the sleeping bag throughout the night. That I will have to accommodate to over the next night hanging out in the trees. I bought the Haven Tent for moto camping, I'm sure it will be great success.
It is great, had hoped for a little more insulation, it’s good to about 40 degrees. Lower than that you start to feel a little chill.
Just took the Haven XL out on a 4 day trip in Arkansas. Purchased the slip cover for added warmth and it was fantastic! Slept in 18 degree weather and the Haven did not disappoint! Such smooth, easy setup and durability throughout. We got rained on the last night and my pack and I kept nice and dry inside all night long. Had a whole crew of Haven users in our group of 9. Was so cool to see. I highly recommend snagging one if you’ve been looking into them!
I made the decision to double up my Haven insulated pads for three reasons: First, because I move about a lot and find it difficult to get settled, using just one cushion generates a lot of noise. Secondly, I detest disturbing my neighbor with my noises, and thirdly, I will be testing the pads for CBS in Tuttle Creek, California, in December 2024. It is my hope that the temperature will drop to the mid-20s. Two pads raise the pad to the mesh zipper line, but I don't mind that. Haven Tent, thank you!

Been figuring out the Haven. I posted about the air mattress losing air, and I wanted to report back on that. Costumer service was awesome. As I mentioned I am 67 and rest for recoup is important. I understand they are working on a lighter weight mattress which will be really great. I still lose air, not an egregious amount, but it is Feb, and the cold obviously plays a role. This helps: Pump the mattress up, then top it off with air from your lungs right before you turn in. Getting better. Like with anything, patience is key.

The Haven XL was amazing. Super easy to set up and very comfortable. The pad cover was the icing on the cake. It added much needed warmth when the temps dropped Down to around 30 degrees. Never felt cold in side the XL with a 30 deg. Quilt.
7/29-7/31 My daughter and I paddled the Magalloway River that winds back and forth between the border of Maine and New Hampshire. We camped at Diamond Peak along the river night one. So comfortable in my Haven and used the air mattress pad for the first time. It added warmth, kept me from slipping and completely took out the noise factor. I’m very happy with this addition. Night two we camped at site #4 on Lake Umbagog….again I was so comfortable! I had my daughter try it and was sure she would not get back out as I gave her a gentle rock which, by the way, is my favorite part of this system! Looking forward to my next Haven adventure!
Your hammock and insulated mattress cover are really really great. I am warm and comfortable and am sleeping well. I don’t like a tangle of heavy sleeping bags I’d rather have an insulated pad and a light comforter and this works perfectly. I have been camping in hammocks for years and this is the first time I am not doing any middle of the night mattress comforter adjusting. I’m currently on the side of a high hill on an island and it is June so there’s a cool breeze but I’m warm and my hammock isn’t overly full or disorganized feeling. It is supposed to be rainy and windy tomorrow and I’m actually looking forward to spending the day in my hammock reading and napping in luxury and comfort. The Haven Safari setup and insulated mattress cover is like having an amazing sofa bed (but I could never afford a sofa bed this nice) while camping.
10/10 Just used the insulated pad in my Haven XL 2 nights during a 15° wind-chill camp with a 20° bag and a top quilt. I was mor than comfortable over night with just thin wool long johns, almost too warm. Great addition to my Haven tent.

Recent canoe trip to la verendrye Quebec with night time temperatures around 39f. My Haven xl with pad kept me toasty warm without layers of clothing. I simply put the tarp in storm mode and was truly comfortable
Makes rolling over easier and quieter. I'm sure it makes it warmer too but I'll have to wait for cold temps again to test it.
The cover did not fit the new mattress, which was a bit of a bummer when we found out at the campsite.

It seems pretty expensive for what is virtually a sheet that has elastic on it and cut out corners.
I would have given a 5. But I wish the stuff sack would hold the mattress and the cover. I would like to keep both together. This would save time setting up and on tear down. .
Die Isolation war bei der Lieferung nicht dabei. passt diese isolation nicht für die XL Matratze? Verrechnet wurde die Isolation, so denke ich, dass diese noch nachgeliefert wird. Die Luftpumpe versuchte ich erfolglos zu bestellen.

I recently purchased a Haven tent/ hammock XL and camped with some friends who had gathered end hammocks and Amok hammocks. I feel that the Haven is a very comfortable hammock compared to the gathered end hammock I suggest a minor tweak is needed to hold the pad in place similar to the Amok, I suggest a band of material at the head and foot ends of the Haven to which the pad would slip into as the Amok does I suggest this as I found the pad moved sideways which led to sleeping at an angle this is despite the triangular pockets you have incorporated into the hammock. I am going to purchase your insulated pat cover but I fear this would make the problem worse. Otherwise a first rate product.
I haven't used it yet. Planning a trip in May. However, I pumped up the XL pad, put the insulated cover over it and put my Zenbivy full length sheet over top of the cover and everything fit great. I'm still deciding whether I should get the carbon spreader bars and caps? Thanks
