i like it
Great idea, very practical solution. Prevents tearing of the material, which happened to me in the previous version. The HavenTen team reacted quickly and sent me a new hammock with these covers.
The spreader bar caps are most definitely an improvement of the design and I believe they solve the issue of excessive wear at the points so I’m really pleased with them
Loved It
They aren't necessary and they are very difficult to fit when you put the spreader bars in the tent.
I don’t see how they fit
For some reason I can not get these to go in the pockets. They are a really good idea, but the pocket opening is just sewn so tight to the diameter of the bars that I can't force them in. Maybe with time it will loosen up, 3 stars for now.
The spreader bar pockets have been upgraded and are much sturdier

Love everything else I have bought from Haven, but I almost did more damage to the tent trying to force them in the spreader bar holes than the spreader bars will ever do to the tent. The shape makes them too big for the holes (I have the safari if that matters).

I'd consider these nearly necessary and not sure why such a small item isn't included as standard equipment.
These spreader bar caps I can see are and important item to have for less strain on the tent spreader bar pockets. Once I saw these I knew they needed to be part of my kit. Thank you.
At first didn’t think I was going to be able to use them. They are tough to get into the pockets for the spreader bars. I found if you get a small wooden dowel (1/4-5/16)and round it on one end you can push them in easier and get them spread out inside the pocket. Once you do that the put the bar in and work it around they set just fine. I can see them helping keep the inside of the pocket from wearing.

The new spreader bar caps seem to be a big improvement, along with the improved nylon pockets. I think they should fit the bars a bit tighter. They have a tendency to pull off and remain in the bar pockets when being removed. A possibility of potential loss if not careful. A new video will be uploaded within the next two weeks. Thanks.
