Customer video review of Haven Repair Kit

Loving my early Christmas gift, the radically light weight Spectre. The mesh is great, it does a decent job at repelling water if it’s only drizzling, so you don’t necessarily have to be blocked by the rain fly and actually enjoy seeing the outdoors too! And one very cold day, I tried it in my back yard with just a light quilt while lying on an electric throw blanket that I plugged into a GFI outlet. I just started watching the large chucks of snow blow off the trees in the strong breeze. The snow colliding with the bug net that helped break the wind while still getting to experience the sights. If you look closely at the video, you may be able to see the way the mesh creates a colorful aura around the falling snowflakes. Now I’m tempted to snag a pair of 3D glasses the next time at the movie theater just to see what it looks like. Great hammock for those with imagination, I guess that would be thanks to those at Haven with the imaginations to create such a great product.

Haven't had to use the repair kit yet, but it's a few tape patches and some liquid seal. Should work just fine.

I'm grateful there is a repair kit available designed for the Safari Tent period. The Carbon Fiber Spreader Bars are light. But they are not the same length as the aluminum ones and the edges/ends of the bars are not rounded. I prefer the aluminum ones.

This is one of the things you buy that you hope you never have to use which I have not, but it looks to be a good quality and came with instructions.

Never received this item and haven’t received a response from customer service rep in 24 hours now. Initial issue with the item this was supposed to come with still has not been addressed either.

Got the patch kit because it is of good quality and will fit my needs should it be necessary to use it. Thank you very much.

Have not had to use yet on my 10+ uses of my haven xl tent but good items to have for repairs.

Hoping not to use it. Seems strange to buy something and hope to not use it. Also seems like something that should be included and not have to purchase. It's a kit nothing fancy but will turn what could be a bad trip into a good one.

Description said it would have 4 rectangular patches but it only had 2 rectangular and one round patch. Very disappointing.

Store owner replied: Hey there! Sorry about that. We ran out of circular patches a few months back and were replacing them with 2 extra rectangular patches. Seems we forgot to update the description. Thanks for the reminder!

Bought the repair kit to have with me during backpacking trips. While I hope to never have to use it, it appears to have me cover if I ever do!

I have not used the repair kit yet, so I really don’t have an opinion on it yet. I hope I never need it. I bought it for insurance.

I have a profound affection for the Haven tent as it is the finest camping equipment I have acquired. During my last excursion, I unintentionally tore the top screen. However, upon contacting Haven to purchase a new screen top, they promptly provided me with a complimentary repair kit. Such exceptional customer service has left a lasting impression, and I highly recommend Haven tents to anyone seeking a new camping system.

Bug net repair kit Super easy to use and fixed the few small holes I had in my bug net. Highly recommend the haven repair kit!

Takes some skill I found it impossible to use outside even in the shade. The UV glue goes off too fast and forms a hard bead. I did repair a hole in the mesh but it looks awful. Recommend a sticky patch or a different glue.

Store owner replied: Yeah. We recommend the patches for the mesh. The sealant works best for the pad and tent seams.

Cheap Insurance Been blessed without the need to use, but glad to have this compact kit with me in the event the need should arise. All items are reasonable priced and offer big bang for the buck. Great job Haven Tents!!
