Simple to utilize and together they allow Hammock to be set up where trees are further apart. Very helpful where multiple hammocks are in use and adequate trees (distance apart) in a site are not conducive to the standard sling setup. Can also be daisy chained if required.

Customer photo review of Haven XL

100% satisfied with everything about their tents and the company. I purchased the Haven tent and then purchased the Haven XL and they are both fantastic. I have also purchased many of their accessories and everything the my do is good quality. I had a small tear in the seam of my XL and the company replaced it within a week. Exceptional customer service.

Customer photo review of Haven XL (Second | Hammock)

Bought the Haven XL second. Buying a “second” is a great way to save some money and get a great Haven hammock. I’ve got a 24’ RV trailer but I love this hammock! It’s more comfortable than the bed in my camper! I used if for a week in September up on the “rim”’in AZ recently and we had some serous thunderstorms and it remained bone dry! I’m 6’4” 205 lbs and the Haven was more than big enough for me. The XL insulated pad is super comfortable! It held air for 9 days and I never needed to add more air to it. I’ll use this hammock for weekend trips when I don’t want to spend the money on diesel to pull my camper. Highly recommend this! Customer service is awesome.

Customer photo review of Haven Stand by YOBOGear

I bought a Haven Sleep System mostly on a whim because we started building a screened-in porch on our house and some of the older kids thought it would be fun to be able to sleep out there in the summer. I bought the stand as well because I didn't want to put screw eyes into columns in the porch. We're moving into the Autum part of the year now. Temperatures are getting down to the mid 40's Fahrenheit. I have an old Coleman sleeping bag on the insulated mattress and Pad, and this tent is downright comfortable! I have a warmer sleeping bag and a BalaClava on the way, and I intend to see just how far into the Winter I can go before I have to move back into the house. I am mainly putting this system through its paces to see what I would need to pack when I go camping. I occasionally have opportunities to go camping and haven't really enjoyed them because I hate sleeping on the ground. This Haven Tent system makes sleeping the best part of camping.

Customer photo review of Haven Tent Rainfly

Very comfortable hammock. Easy to set up. Rained during the night. Kept me warm and dry. Only negative is the weight. The XL with the 5R true level pad weighs close to 7lbs. However, I don't mind the weight as the hammock is so comfortable. My son has the same XL tent and loves it too.

Customer photo review of Haven Safari

The Haven Safari Tent met and exceeded my expectations. As you can tell from the photos, I have sleep apnea but have been wanting to hammock camp for a while now. With the limited options available, I had given up on finding a way to make it work — that is, until I found Haven's lay-flat design. I couldn't find any reviews on any website talking about how well this tent accommodates people with sleep apnea who need to use a CPAP machine, so I decided to get one and write that review myself. Here it is. The Haven Safari Tent works amazing for people who sleep with a CPAP or BiPAP machine! The lay-flat design lets you place your machine anywhere in the tent where there's room. I wasn't brave enough to test my machine with water in the humidifier chamber, since I figured my movement would cause it to slosh around and get sucked into the breathing tube. That said, I did notice that the cross bars that give the tent its rigidity could be used to hang a CPAP machine — I think they'd hold up fine with water in the reservoir, though I haven't tested that myself, so take that as a guess rather than a guarantee. The overall build quality of the tent is excellent. I had no issues with the strength of the material. The first night I used this tent, it actually rained, and I stayed nice and dry with the rain fly buttoned down. The only negative things I have to say about this tent are mostly minor, with one exception. The straps used to wrap around a tree seem to be a little short. Both times I've camped with this tent, I've had to use thinner trees, which — while strong enough to hold my weight — still sagged and caused the tent to float only about 1–2 feet off the ground. The straps are long enough for larger trees that won't sag, but I kept finding trees that either sagged or were too big. This is probably a "me" problem rather than a tent problem, but it would be nice if the straps were a little longer. That said, I don't see any reason you couldn't just use aftermarket straps that are longer, as long as they meet or exceed the tent's weight specs. The mattress is loud. It's comfortable, but any time I moved, it made a noticeable creaking sound. This doesn't bother me personally, since one of the points of a hammock tent is solo camping — there's usually nobody around to hear it but me. However, I recently went camping with a group that included some teenagers, and they did mention it was noticeable whenever I moved around at night, which I do frequently. Still, this is more or less a non-issue, since most people looking into this tent are probably after a solo camping experience. The lounge strap, for lack of a better term, does not work. I don't know if mine is defective, but the strap won't stay taut for anyone of sufficient weight — and I don't mean "large" people. I'm 230 lbs, and I had a friend who weighs 170 lbs try it too; the strap just slipped when either of us leaned back and put weight on it. This is easily fixed by tying a knot (shown in one of my pictures), but with the knot in place, the strap is no longer "one-handed" to operate, as advertised in some of Haven's marketing. This flaw could likely be fixed with a minor redesign giving the strap more grip on the fabric. I was genuinely excited for this feature, since during the day I like to hang out in the hammock and watch movies or play games — but short of tying it into a knot, I couldn't find a way to stop it from slipping. This is the main reason for my 4-star rating instead of 5 (I'd call it a 4.5 with this issue, and a full 5.0 without it). All in all, this tent is amazing. It solved the problem of not being able to sleep in a hammock with sleep apnea. If you have sleep apnea and want to hammock camp — GET THIS TENT.

Customer photo review of Haven Safari

Simple setup. Excellent quality construction. Just impressed in every way by my New Haven Safari! 2 other campers were in conventional hammocks, and both said they’d been cold overnight. I was toasty warm with my rainfly toggled down on the backside- and the frontside flipped over on top. The R-5.3 rated insulation of the pad must be accurate. The view out the bug net of the stars through the trees was beautiful and peaceful. Rain was forecast- that’s why I chose to set up with the rain fly already toggled on the backside. When it started to rain I just unzipped the bug net a bit, reached up and flipped the front rainfly over, and secured it with the little clip in the middle. So simple! I didn’t even wake up completely to do it. Totally dry and protected inside. And plenty of ventilation still from the two peak vents. And extremely comfortable. Truly flat hammock sleeping! I’m a busy sleeper- I move around a lot during the night. I slept on both sides, and my back- and I was completely comfy and cozy. I’m 6’2” and 225 pounds. I had tons of room lengthwise, and just enough room side-to-side to not feel cramped. No side rolling or any unwanted movement from the sleeping pad. It stayed tucked into its corner pockets all night long, and provided an excellent cushy sleeping platform. Can’t wait til my next trip! Taking it all down was just as easy as the set up. I took it straight out of the box it arrived in, having never seen one before in person- and had it set up in less than 10 minutes. Tear down and stow away, was even less than that. BTW: It dried really quickly once the rain stopped- Took about as long as it took me to make and eat breakfast, and then it was totally dry and ready to be packed away. It really doesn’t get much easier (and never more comfortable) than a Haven Tent!

Customer photo review of Haven XL Pad

Normally, when I go camping near the end of the trip, one of the things I look forward to the most is sleeping back in my own bed. However, after spending 4 nights at high alpine lakes with my Haven XL hammock and sleeping pad, sleeping in my own bed didn't even cross my mind. The difference in comfort between my bed at home and my hammock was so small! It was the best sleep I have ever had while camping, and it's not even close.

Customer photo review of Haven Safari

Camped this weekend in northern Minnesota with a Scout Troop. Temps in the evening were around 45 deg Fahrenheit. I’m 6’8’ and weigh around 280. The Safari was great! Easy setup and plenty of room. The insulation pad coupled with the air mattress was very comfortable. I also have the large fly which is the right size. Unfortunately we had a storm come through in the night and winds were quite strong for a period of time. One of the mid tie downs ripped at the anchor point. I will discuss this with Haven and see if they will cover it. The rest of the fly survived just fine. I highly recommend the sleep system and will test again in two weeks at the next Campout.

Easy to set up after watching the offered video — I got to camp later than I’d planned and was able to set the tent, rain fly, and pad in less than 30 minutes no sweat! The whole deal withstood a rainstorm and some moderate winds, and while the ground below got gross and wet I was nice and dry!

Customer photo review of Haven XL Pad

Very nice system, I didn't sleep in because had some distractions at camp area from other campers dogs..they were 2 German shapperd dogs unleash at area..I left after feel not safe...beside that I jumped in and very comfortable...beginning I changed hanging buckles to small size Dutchgear titanium buckles but back to originals..I have zenbivy full sheet system, and it small for Haven pad, I attached it but makes feet side curl up..as a wide Zenbivy system fits but as a Long side to small..Better fit with quicksheet from Zenbivy..and I ordered quicksheet from zenbivy..why zenbivy system? the reason is top quilt can attach to pad, and keeps heat in..more easy to go out in than side zippered bags.. Hoffly I gave some idea for next Haven hammock tent.. Many people will buy if shorter version comes because most pads are on market same size not 30"x80" and people will buy if hammock fits to their pad..30" is as a wide over size and good for large sized person..80"is good for Tall person.. Best use 25"x72" (regular wide) So what I am saying if next Haven hammock goes down for Regular wide, Long wide, Regular sized pad I believe triples selling.. And cuts weight too.. Thanks

Customer photo review of Haven Spectre

Just finished hiking the 77 mile Foothills Trail in NC/SC and used my New Haven Spectra. I LOVED it! It was light weight and easily a part of my 17lb base weight. It went up fast and easy. It provided the most comfortable sleep system I’ve ever experienced on the trail. I wiggled all around from back, side to belly sleeping and it was as comfortable as a real bed! I have always said that for me to really be at my best I need good sleep and nutritious food. Haven totally nailed the sleep part! Thank you Haven Team!

Customer photo review of Haven XL

The tent fulfilled my expectations. My only issue was my need to learn the best angle for setting up the tent-head to toe. Not really an issue, just learning what to do on this initial trip into the BWCAW. Very pleased with my selection of the Haven XL.

Customer photo review of Haven Insulated Pad Cover

I just returned from a five day trip into the MN BWCAW. My Haven XL tent performed well. I had two days with substantial wind and on of those days brought about 3/4” of rain. I was very pleased with my purchase. It’s my first outing with the New Haven tent. Great product! My only issue was the bag for the insulated air mattress has a few small holes in it. I carry a small roll of black gorilla tape with me and used that on both the outside and inside of the bag.

Customer photo review of Haven Tent Rainfly

Side Sleepers can rejoice as we can now sleep in comfort and join the hammock world!! I ordered the Spectre as I am seeking the perfect moto-camping set up. I am so happy that Haven went with a Sip-Poly Rainfly. (No stretching when wet Sil-Poly is amazing) I have only had it for a short time and have had 5 nights with this set up. I have been in 2 thunder and rain storms, with the fly in "storm Bomb Shelter" mode I stayed completely Dry. With the rainfly in storm mode the tent still breathes good and I had absolutely no condensation issues inside. I ordered this with the r5.3 sleeping pad, it is comfortable, and I can sleep on my side in comfort!! The coldest night I have slept in was 28F, I felt absolutely no cold temperature creeping up through the pad. I think the weight is very respectable. Considering a large part of the weight is the sleeping pad. With an average tents the weight is between 4.0lbs to 6lbs plus your air mattress. This kit weighs in at 5 1/2lbs defiantly falls within my weight requirements. I pack a piece of Tyvek in my kit. I use it as a porch with all my tents. I lay the Tyvek down and set some of my gear on it and I have a place to take off my boots and not worry about tracking pine needles into my Haven. Now for the little quirks I would like to see improved. 1)The storage basement is great but if there is nothing in the basket to give some weight the little hooks easily come unhooked. What I would like to see is to convert the netting on the storage sack that holds the air mattress to the storage bag, if that netting was larger it could be dual purpose, the holder to keep the pad with the tent storage sack, 2nd it could become the basement storage and then use the plastic click connectors instead of the hooks. This would help prevent loosing the fabric basement storage. 2)I wish the sacks for the cross poles and stakes were not black, very easy to loose or misplace when setting camp in the dark 3) The side pockets inside the tent are in great locations. I have had several items get pushed out during the night and those items end up under the sleeping pad. This could lead to puncturing the sleeping pad. 4)The String light can be attached to the cross poles with silicone loops, would be nice if the loops were slightly larger for easier install on the poles. (Very minor quirk) 5) The sleeping pad packs very large. I have no regrets with ordering this kit. YES I would buy again and I will continue to recommend.

The trailer hitch and the Whoopsie slings make it so I can have hammock adventures from the drive-ins to the back country, and the rainfly's versatility has protected me from rain, wind, hail, and sun. This is definitely my preferred way to camp!
